Lucky African Dance offers students a range of unique opportunities to experience African dance. Workshops and classes can be offered as one-off activities or weekly for the length of the school term. They can be designed for dance and performing arts students or students who have little or no dance experience who just want to have some fun and do something a little different.

Founded by Master Dancer Lucky Lartey from Ghana, Lucky African Dance promotes and celebrates African culture in Australia through offering a range of African drum and dance experiences; including classes, workshops and traditional African drum and dance performances at festivals, schools, private events and parties.

Introducing Lucky
Lucky is one of Australia’s most dynamic West African performers and is well known for his versatile and high energy dance style. Lucky hit Australia dancing in March 2011 and has been wowing audiences and inspiring dance students ever since with his traditional West African Dance, Afro-Contemporary and fusion choreography.

Lucky collaborates with dancers and musicians from all over Australia to provide unique and engaging performances that draw on many cultures and art forms, including West African dance and rhythm, contemporary music and dance and world music.
